     Your AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to
  whom has been referred
  
                         HOUSE BILL 457
                                 
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
     1.   On page 1, line 16, strike "office of the state engineer"
  and insert in lieu thereof "city of Santa Fe".
  
     2.   On page 1, line 18, after the word "water" insert "and
  surface water".,
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
