0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SANTA FE TRAIL ONE HUNDRED

0013|     SEVENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IN FIVE NORTHERN NEW

0014|     MEXICO COUNTIES; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism
    |
0019|     department for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and 1997 for the
    |
0020|     purpose of providing educational, historical and cultural
    |
0021|     activities in celebration of the Santa Fe trail's one hundred
    |
0022|     seventy-fifth anniversary in five northern New Mexico counties. 
    |
0023|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0025|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0001|         peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.                     State of New Mexico
