0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY FOR

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two million six hundred
    |
0017|     thousand dollars ($2,600,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0018|     fund to the state department of public education for expenditure
    |
0019|     in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of funding educational
    |
0020|     technology for public schools throughout the state.  Any
    |
0021|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
