0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STUDY TO UPGRADE THE COUNTY-WIDE

0013|     RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM OF DONA ANA COUNTY; DECLARING AN

0014|     EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local
    |
0019|     government division of the department of finance and
    |
0020|     administration for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and 1997 for
    |
0021|     the purpose of planning and engineering the upgrade of a county-wide radio communications system for the county of Dona Ana. 
    |
0022|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0024|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0025|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
