0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR RANGE IMPROVEMENT TASK FORCE

0013|     PROGRAMS AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0019|     year 1997 for the purpose of hiring additional staff and meeting
    |
0020|     additional operating expenses necessary to conduct research and
    |
0021|     obtain scientific information for the range improvement task
    |
0022|     force.  The appropriation shall be distributed to the
    |
0023|     cooperative extension service.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0024|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0025|     the general fund.
