0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 1997
    |
0020|     to enhance a forsenic interview program for allegedly sexually
    |
0021|     abused children to ensure the availability of these services on
    |
0022|     a statewide basis.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
