APPROPRIATIONS.-- | 0018| A. Seven hundred forty-six thousand dollars | 0019| ($746,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the | 0020| children, youth and families department for expenditure in | 0021| fiscal year 1997 to provide or contract for services in the | 0022| following amounts for the following purposes: | 0023| (1) three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) | 0024| for the office of child development; | 0025| (2) two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to | 0001| the children's trust fund; and | 0002| (3) two hundred forty-six thousand dollars | 0003| ($246,000) for child-care resource and referral programs. | 0004| B. Nine hundred thousand dollars ($900,000) is | 0005| appropriated from the general fund to the department of health | 0006| for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 to provide or contract for | 0007| services in the following amounts for the following purposes: | 0008| (1) four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) | 0009| preschool and infant evaluation programs; and | 0010| (2) five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) | 0011| for programs serving families affected by problems caused by | 0012| substance abuse during pregnancy. | 0013| C.
