0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE

0013|     DISTRICT ATTORNEYS TO PROVIDE STATEWIDE TRAINING FOR ATTORNEY

0014|     AND NON-ATTORNEY STAFF.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Eighty thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($80,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     administrative office of the district attorneys for expenditure
    |
0020|     in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of providing annual
    |
0021|     statewide training to attorney and non-attorney staff in
    |
0022|     district attorneys' offices.  All training requests shall be
    |
0023|     approved by the administrative office of the district attorneys
    |
0024|     to ensure that all training courses be applicable to the
    |
0025|     respective job classification of the attorney and consistent
    |
0001|     with minimum continuing legal education requirements for the
    |
0002|     attorney.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0003|     the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
