0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of
    |
0018|     the state engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the
    |
0019|     purpose of conducting a development feasibility and impact study
    |
0020|     of the Venada arroyo.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0021|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0022|     general fund.
