0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0019|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0020|     1997 for the purpose of maintaining one full-time-equivalent
    |
0021|     parent involvement-daycare coordinator at the Eugene Field
    |
0022|     elementary school in Albuquerque.  Any unexpended or
    |
0023|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0024|     shall revert to the general fund.
