0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars
    |
0018|     ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     energy, minerals and natural resources department for
    |
0020|     expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of weatherizing
    |
0021|     homes for persons at or below the federal income poverty level
    |
0022|     in the city of Albuquerque located in Bernalillo county.  Any
    |
0023|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
