0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BUREAU OF MINES AND MINERAL

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the bureau of
    |
0019|     mines and minerals of the New Mexico institute of mining and
    |
0020|     technology for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose
    |
0021|     of making a valid, accurate mineral inventory and assessment of
    |
0022|     state trust lands.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
