0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty-six thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($46,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of operating the
    |
0020|     energetic materials research and testing center for defense
    |
0021|     conversion.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0022|     the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
