0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-three thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($53,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0018|     Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1997 for the purpose of funding a uranium workers assistance
    |
0020|     program located in Shiprock in San Juan county.  Any unexpended
    |
0021|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
