0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO UPGRADE AN EDUCATIONAL COMPUTER

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0018|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1997 for the purpose of upgrading an educational computer system
    |
0020|     for a private nonprofit boarding school serving primarily Native
    |
0021|     American and Hispanic children in grades seven through twelve. 
    |
0022|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
