0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred ninety-two
    |
0018|     thousand dollars ($392,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0019|     fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0020|     year 1997 for the purpose of contracting for services to provide
    |
0021|     transitional housing and support services for paroled veterans
    |
0022|     in Santa Fe county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
