0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SAFEHOUSE PROGRAM IN EDDY COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     administrative office of the district attorneys for expenditure
    |
0018|     in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of establishing a program in
    |
0019|     Eddy county that provides safehouse services.  Any unexpended or
    |
0020|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0021|     shall revert to the general fund.
