0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A

0013|     YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0017|            A.  One hundred seventeen thousand dollars ($117,000)
    |
0018|     is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of
    |
0019|     the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 1997
    |
0020|     for the following programs in the following amounts:
    |
0021|                 (1)  sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for a
    |
0022|     youth leadership development program;
    |
0023|                 (2)  thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for a
    |
0024|     young leaders conference; and
    |
0025|                 (3)  twenty-seven thousand dollars ($27,000) for
    |
0001|     the college world series.
    |
0002|            B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0003|     at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
