APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars | 0001| ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New | 0002| Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year | 0003| 1997 for the purpose of contracting for services for the | 0004| planning and development of a Native American Indian women's | 0005| center to assist Native American Indian women with education and | 0006| career development while offering a safe and supportive | 0007| environment for their children and families.
