0012|     REQUESTING THE STATE HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT TO

0013|     STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF BUILDING AN OVERPASS AT INTERSTATE 40

0014|     AND SUPERMAN CANYON ROAD IN MCKINLEY COUNTY.

0016|       WHEREAS, there is limited access to interstate 40 east of
    |
0017|     Gallup; and
    |
0018|       WHEREAS, access to interstate 40 from east of Gallup and
    |
0019|     traffic north from the vicinity of Superman Canyon road is very
    |
0020|     difficult and imposes substantial burdens on the growing White
    |
0021|     Cliff residential community;
    |
0022|       NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
    |
0023|     STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the state highway and transportation
    |
0024|     department be requested to study the feasibility of constructing
    |
0025|     an overpass over the interstate, the wash and railroad tracks in
    |
0001|     the vicinity of Superman Canyon road east of Gallup in McKinley
    |
0002|     county; and
    |
0003|       BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be
    |
0004|     transmitted to the secretary of highway and transportation.
