0006| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0007|      Section 1.  GENERAL FUND--EXTENDING EXPENDITURE PERIOD--
    |
0008| APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0009|           A.  The period of time in which the appropriation made
    |
0010| pursuant to Subsection K of Section 3 of Chapter 147 of Laws 1994 to
    |
0011| the Hispanic cultural division of the office of cultural affairs for
    |
0012| planning, designing and constructing a Hispanic cultural center in the
    |
0013| southwest portion of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county shall be
    |
0014| extended through fiscal year 1999.
    |
0015|           B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the
    |
0016| end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0017|      Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0018| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.    
    |
