       Your TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been
  referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 197
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 2, line 3, strike the closing quotation mark.
  
       2.  On page 2, between lines 3 and 4, insert the following new
  subsection:
  
            "C. Notwithstanding any provision of this section, no
  bicycle shall be operated on any roadway in a manner that would
  create a public safety hazard."",
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
