0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND

0012|     STAFF DEVELOPMENT FOR SCHOOL LEADERS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0018|     year 1998 for the purpose of contracting for professional
    |
0019|     development training for school leaders.  Any unexpended or
    |
0020|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0021|     shall revert to the general fund.
