0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CERTAIN PROGRAMS WITHIN RUIDOSO

0012|     MUNICIPAL SCHOOLS LOCATED IN LINCOLN COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is
    |
0017|     appropriated from the general fund to the state department of
    |
0018|     public education for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 in the
    |
0019|     following amounts for the following purposes:
    |
0020|                    (1)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to fund
    |
0021|     the parents as teachers program within the Ruidoso municipal
    |
0022|     schools located in Lincoln county; and
    |
0023|                    (2)  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to
    |
0024|     provide funding for the Gavilan adolescent day treatment center
    |
0025|     in Lincoln county.
    |
0001|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0002|     at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
    |
0003|     fund.
