0011| RELATING TO DISTRICT ATTORNEYS; CREATING THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY

0012| FUND; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. DISTRICT ATTORNEY FUND--CREATED--
|
0016| ADMINISTRATION--PURPOSE.--The "district attorney fund" is
|
0017| created in the state treasury. The fund shall consist of
|
0018| worthless check fees, preprosecution diversion fees, other
|
0019| statutory revenues directed to the fund, appropriations, gifts,
|
0020| grants and donations. The fund shall not revert at the end of
|
0021| any fiscal year. Money in the fund is subject to appropriation
|
0022| by the legislature and is for the sole purpose of meeting
|
0023| necessary expenses incurred in the operation of the
|
0024| administrative office of the district attorneys. Expenditures
|
0025| from the fund shall be pursuant to budgets approved by the
|
0001| state budget division of the department of finance and
|
0002| administration and made by warrant drawn by the secretary of
|
0003| finance and administration pursuant to vouchers signed by the
|
0004| director of the administrative office of the district attorneys
|
0005| or his authorized representative.
