0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MENTAL HEALTH IN THE SCHOOLS

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for
    |
0018|     the development of a mental health in the schools initiative. 
    |
0019|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0020|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
