0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME

0012|     PERSONS WITH MENTAL ILLNESSES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--SERVICES FOR THE MENTALLY ILL.-
    |
0016|     -Two million sixty thousand dollars ($2,060,000) is
    |
0017|     appropriated from the general fund to the department of health
    |
0018|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of
    |
0019|     providing services for mentally ill persons, including
    |
0020|     community crisis stabilization diversion beds; jail diversion
    |
0021|     services and infrastructure; medication and drug formulary
    |
0022|     enhancement; and residential support and quality outcome
    |
0023|     services.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0024|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
