0011|     RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF AN

0012|     APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION FOR

0013|     PUBLIC SCHOOL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SAN JUAN COUNTY; MAKING

0014|     AN APPROPRIATION; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  GENERAL FUND--STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
    |
0018|     EDUCATION--APPROPRIATIONS.--The proceeds from the appropriation
    |
0019|     to the state department of public education of three hundred
    |
0020|     fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for equipment purchases and
    |
0021|     capital improvements at the Bloomfield alternative school in
    |
0022|     San Juan county pursuant to Subsection JJ of Section 23 of
    |
0023|     Chapter 4 of Laws 1996 (1st S.S.) shall not be expended for
    |
0024|     that purpose but are appropriated for energy conservation and
    |
0025|     renovation projects at Rio Vista middle school and Mesa Alta
    |
0001|     junior high school in San Juan county.
    |
0002|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0003|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
