0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR

0012|     VIOLENCE AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAMS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0017|     of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of enabling the division of
    |
0019|     continuing education to develop courses, materials and a
    |
0020|     conference related to violence and substance abuse.  Any
    |
0021|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
