       Your ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to
  whom has been referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 736
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1. On page 5, after line 12, insert the following new
  subsection:
  
       "E. A governmental unit may enter into a utility savings
  contract pursuant to Section 13-1-129 NMSA 1978 in accordance with
  the provisions of the Public Building Energy and Water Conservation
  Efficiency Act.",
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
