0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO

0012|     STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE ADVANCED MANUFACTURING CENTER.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0017|     of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of improving access to and
    |
0019|     effectiveness of the advanced manufacturing center on the
    |
0020|     campus of New Mexico state university in Las Cruces in Dona Ana
    |
0021|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0022|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
