0011|     RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF

0012|     GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATIONS IN LEA AND ROOSEVELT COUNTIES;

0013|     MAKING APPROPRIATIONS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  GENERAL FUND--DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND
    |
0017|     ADMINISTRATION--CHANGE IN PURPOSE--APPROPRIATION.--The balance
    |
0018|     of the appropriation from the general fund to the department of
    |
0019|     finance and administration pursuant to Subsection CCC of
    |
0020|     Section 24 of Chapter 222 of Laws 1995 for the purpose of site
    |
0021|     preparation or transportation costs to relocate a historical
    |
0022|     building at the museum complex in the city of Lovington in Lea
    |
0023|     county shall not be expended for its original purpose but is
    |
0024|     appropriated to the local government division of the department
    |
0025|     of finance and administration for the purpose of site
    |
0001|     preparation, transportation and restoration costs to relocate a
    |
0002|     historical building at the museum complex in the city of
    |
0003|     Lovington in Lea county.
    |
0004|          Section 2.  GENERAL FUND--DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND
    |
0005|     ADMINISTRATION--CHANGE IN PURPOSE--APPROPRIATION.--The balance
    |
0006|     of the appropriation from the general fund to the department of
    |
0007|     finance and administration pursuant to Subsection S of Section
    |
0008|     21 of Chapter 4 of Laws 1996 (1st S.S.) for the purpose of
    |
0009|     installing a parking lot or landscaping for the county
    |
0010|     extension office building in Roosevelt county shall not be
    |
0011|     expended for its original purpose but is appropriated to the
    |
0012|     local government division of the department of finance and
    |
0013|     administration to replace window coverings and paint throughout
    |
0014|     the courthouse buildings in Roosevelt county.
    |
0015|          Section 3.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0016|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
