0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION AS A LOAN TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

0012|     SERVICE TO PRODUCE A BOOK OF CAPITOL ART; PROVIDING FOR
    |
0013|     REPAYMENT.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--LOAN--REPAYMENT.--
    |
0017|               A.  One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is
    |
0018|     appropriated from the general fund to the legislative council
    |
0019|     service for expenditure in fiscal years 1998 and 1999 to
    |
0020|     produce a book of capitol art.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0021|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0022|     to the general fund.
    |
0023|               B.  The legislative council service shall reimburse
    |
0024|     the general fund for the appropriation provided in Subsection A
    |
0025|     of this section from the proceeds from the sale of the book of
    |
0001|     capitol art.
    |
0002|               C.  Any proceeds remaining after the general fund
    |
0003|     has been reimbursed for the appropriation provided in
    |
0004|     Subsection A of this section shall not revert to the general
    |
0005|     fund but shall be appropriated for use to maintain the capitol
    |
0006|     art collection.
