       Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom
  has been referred
  
                       HOUSE BILL 1340
                               
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 1, line 21, strike "person" and insert in lieu
  thereof "applicant".
  
       2.  On page 2, line 18, strike "under eighteen years of age"
  and insert in lieu thereof "an unemancipated minor".
  
       3.  On page 2, line 19, strike "a parent or stepparent" and
  insert in lieu thereof "related to the minor by blood or marriage".
  
       4.  On page 2, lines 22 and 23, strike "eligible person under
  the age of eighteen years" and insert in lieu thereof "unemancipated
  minor".
  
       5.  On page 3, line 3, strike "a child" and insert in lieu
  thereof "an unemancipated minor".
  
       6.  On page 3, lines 6 and 7, strike "temporary assistance for
  needy families" and insert in lieu thereof "assistance pursuant to
  Title 4 of the federal act".
  
       7.  On page 3, lines 16 through 17, strike "Personal
  Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996" and
  insert in lieu thereof "federal act".  
  
       8.  On page 3, lines 19 and 20, strike "the Personal
  Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996;" and
  insert in lieu thereof "Title 16 of the federal act".
  
       9.  On page 3, lines 24 and 25, strike "the Personal
  Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996" and
  insert in lieu thereof "Title 16 of the federal act".
