0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE SAFE WATER PROGRAM.

0013|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0014|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--SAFE WATER PROGRAM.--Eight
    |
0015|     hundred eighty thousand dollars ($880,000) is appropriated from
    |
0016|     the general fund to the human services department for
    |
0017|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 by the income support division
    |
0018|     for the purpose of providing a statewide safe water program to
    |
0019|     improve both drinking water and sanitation systems throughout
    |
0020|     New Mexico.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0021|     at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
    |
0022|     fund.
