0011| RELATING TO TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES; REGARDING

0012| FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. DECLARATION OF LEGISLATIVE INTENT.--It is the
|
0016| intent of the legislature that executive agencies implementing
|
0017| the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation
|
0018| Act of 1996 shall not exceed the minimum participation rates,
|
0019| the sanction requirements or extend the scope of prohibited
|
0020| acts as set forth in that act.
|
0021| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0022| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
