0011|     MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS IN SENATE
    |
0012|     DISTRICT 6.

    |
0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATIONS.--
    |
0016|               A.  Four thousand dollars ($4,000) is appropriated
    |
0017|     from the general fund to the local government division of the
    |
0018|     department of finance and administration for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1998 for a resource library in Mora county.  Any
    |
0020|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|               B.  Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated
    |
0023|     from the general fund to the local government division of the
    |
0024|     department of finance and administration for expenditure in
    |
0025|     fiscal year 1998 to review and update and provide for 
    |
0001|     implementation and enforcement of the Mora county land use code
    |
0002|     and comprehensive land use plan.  Any unexpended or
    |
0003|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0004|     shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0005|               C.  Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is
    |
0006|     appropriated from the general fund to the local government
    |
0007|     division of the department of finance and administration to
    |
0008|     improve the ice hockey facility and purchase safety equipment
    |
0009|     and reusable supplies for ice hockey in Taos county.  Any
    |
0010|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0011|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0012|               D.  One hundred eighty-nine thousand dollars
    |
0013|     ($189,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0014|     of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0015|     fiscal year 1998 for operating expenses of the Harwood museum
    |
0016|     and northern new Mexico research center.  Any unexpended or
    |
0017|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0018|     shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0019|               E.  Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated
    |
0020|     from the general fund to the economic development department
    |
0021|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for a pilot project in Taos
    |
0022|     county to train welfare recipients in food production
    |
0023|     technology.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0024|     at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
    |
0025|     fund.

0001|               F.  Forty-seven thousand dollars ($47,000) is
    |
0002|     appropriated from the general fund to the local government
    |
0003|     division of the department of finance and administration for
    |
0004|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 to provide internet access for
    |
0005|     Questa, Questa school district and Penasco.  Any unexpended or
    |
0006|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0007|     shall revert to the general fund.
