0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO REGION NO. 2 HOUSING

0012|     AUTHORITY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     New Mexico Region No. 2 housing authority for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of providing training staff
    |
0019|     support to continue homeownership training for public housing
    |
0020|     residents and authorities and to incorporate homeownership
    |
0021|     training for the mentally handicapped, physically handicapped
    |
0022|     and other special needs populations throughout the state.  Any 
    |
0023|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
