0011| RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO

0012| FUND COMMUNITY-BASED TRAINING PROGRAMS IN MORA AND SAN MIGUEL

0013| COUNTIES; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
|
0017| dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
|
0018| labor department for expenditure in fiscal years 1997 and 1998
|
0019| for the purpose of establishing community-based training
|
0020| programs to teach at-risk youths from Mora and San Miguel
|
0021| counties traditional building practices and skills in the
|
0022| restoration of historic buildings in those counties. Any
|
0023| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0024| fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.

0025| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0001| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
