0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR WATER SYSTEM PLANNING TO PROVIDE

0012|     WATER UTILITIES FOR THE SOUTH VALLEY IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     department of environment for expenditure in fiscal year 1998
    |
0018|     for the purpose of water system planning and investigatory work
    |
0019|     for providing water utilities to the south valley in Bernalillo
    |
0020|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0021|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
