       Your TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been
  referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 29
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 3, line 12, after "section" insert a period,
  strike the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof
  "Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining in the
  department's account at the end of any fiscal year shall
  revert to the general fund.".
  
       2.  On page 3, line 21, strike "1998" and insert in lieu
  thereof "1999".,
  
  
  and thence referred to the ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES
  COMMITTEE.
