APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred forty-six | 0015| thousand five hundred ninety dollars ($546,590) is | 0016| appropriated from the general fund to the legislative council | 0017| service for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to provide staff | 0018| for the speaker of the house, president pro tempore and the | 0019| majority and minority leadership offices of each house to | 0020| assist the legislative leadership in carrying out the ever- | 0021| increasing institutional duties of the leaders in | 0022| accomplishing the work of the legislature, including primarily | 0023| coordinating and communicating with other members of the | 0024| legislature, other branches of government, the media and the | 0025| public; policy analysis and special projects; and office- | - 1 - 0001| related duties.
