0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TRAINING AND PLANNING FOR WATER

0012| SUPPLY PROTECTION IN THE RIO EMBUDO WATERSHED.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred twenty-five
|
0016| thousand dollars ($225,000) is appropriated from the general
|
0017| fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for
|
0018| expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of conducting
|
0019| community hearings and water quality and public health
|
0020| training to develop a water supply protection plan for the Rio
|
0021| Embudo watershed in Taos and Rio Arriba counties. Any
|
0022| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0023| fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
