0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CREATE AN OFFICE OF MENTORSHIP AND

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     children, youth and families department for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of establishing an office of
    |
0019|     mentorship and volunteerism.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0020|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert
    |
0021|     to the general fund.
