0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A STUDY TO DETERMINE THE

0012|     ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE SALE OF NATIVE AMERICAN ARTS AND

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office
    |
0018|     of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
    |
0019|     the purpose of contracting to have a study conducted that will
    |
0020|     determine the economic impact of the sale of Native American
    |
0021|     arts and crafts on the New Mexico economy.  Any unexpended or
    |
0022|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0023|     shall revert to the general fund.
