0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

0012| SERVICES TO ALL TRIBES IN NEW MEXICO.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
|
0016| dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
|
0017| the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
|
0018| the purpose of contracting with an organization that aids
|
0019| Indian nations, tribes and pueblos in the development of
|
0020| culturally appropriate economic development opportunities
|
0021| related to tourism for Indian tribes. Any unexpended or
|
0022| unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
|
0023| shall revert to the general fund.
