0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE

0012|     ESTABLISHMENT OF A PROSTATE CANCER PROGRAM.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
    |
0018|     the purpose of establishing a prostate cancer program for the
    |
0019|     early detection of and public information about the disease. 
    |
0020|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
