0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR GUARDIANSHIP

0012|     PROCEEDINGS FOR CERTAIN DEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office
    |
0017|     of the attorney general for expenditure in fiscal year 1999
    |
0018|     for the purpose of funding necessary guardianship proceedings
    |
0019|     for individuals needing assistance but unable to make
    |
0020|     responsible decisions for themselves.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
