0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR DISABLED AND ELDERLY

0012|     INDIVIDUALS NOT RECEIVING MEDICAID SERVICES DUE TO LACK OF

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million seven hundred
    |
0017|     fifty thousand dollars ($1,750,000) is appropriated from the
    |
0018|     general fund to the department of health for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1999 to provide services to new clients eligible
    |
0020|     for the disabled and elderly medicaid waiver program who are
    |
0021|     not currently receiving services due to lack of sufficient
    |
0022|     funding.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0023|     the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
