0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STATEWIDE FOOD AND NUTRITION

0012|     EDUCATION PROGRAMS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board
    |
0017|     of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 by the cooperative extension service of the
    |
0019|     college of agriculture and home economics to provide food and
    |
0020|     nutrition education services to low-income families throughout
    |
0021|     the state.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0022|     at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general
    |
0023|     fund.
